Stefan Hartung has been Chairman of the Board of Management of the world's largest automotive supplier Robert Bosch since 2022. His areas of responsibility include corporate strategy, corporate communications and government relations as well as technology development. He is also responsible for the central research and advance engineering department, central quality management and the central manufacturing technology department. His task: to make the company fit for the new era of mobility during the transformation. Hartung, born in 1966, completed his doctorate at RWTH Aachen University before initially working for the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft and the management consultancy McKinsey. In 2004, he joined Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte GmbH and made a career in the Group.
